About

Dance

Bonjour, I’m Isabelle Sitterle. I was born and raised in France, in Alsace (on the border of Germany and Switzerland). From a very early age, I was the “clown” of my classes, mimicking others!

There wasn’t much strong artistic training available where I grew up, though I did some local dance and gymnastics. When I moved to New York City in 1994, I began serious dance training at the Martha Graham School and the Broadway Dance Center, and I also became a full-time acting student at NYFA. In addition, I explored visual arts, learning to paint and draw portraits, and I was part of a theatre group where we performed regularly.

My favorite dance style is inspired by Bob Fosse. I truly love the musical "Chicago" and have always dreamed of embodying Velma Kelly.

After 20 years in New York, I moved to Los Angeles in 2014, looking for a new chapter. Since then, I’ve continued to explore my passions through dance classes, acting, and painting. In 2021, I was part of BTS’s music video “Permission to Dance.”

Outside of performing, I am a French teacher who loves working with children and sharing my language and culture. In the SummerTime, I give acting classes to children.

I am excited and grateful to become a member of Threefold Artists. I deeply appreciate being part of an organization that values genuine human connection and service to those in need. The supportive and inspiring environment immediately resonated with me.
